From a quiet question to a working solution

2010
The realization
P. VenkataRamana observed how everyday food was increasingly exposed to pesticides and chemicals — silently affecting people's health over time. The question that followed never let go of him: "Why is safe food becoming difficult to access?"
2010 – 2026
A decade of research, not assumptions
What started as a personal concern became continuous research at our pilot farm near Mominpet — testing SOPs, trialling commercial crops, and learning what genuine organic cultivation actually requires, season after season. Not to write a report, but to find something families could actually use.
Over 15 years on
Life in Green (H) is born
Not just understanding the problem, but building a practical, sustainable system — one where families could regain control over their food without needing to become farmers themselves.

Mominpet — where it all began. Our original pilot farm near Mominpet is still active today, where our team continues to develop SOPs and trial commercial crops. It remains open for visits alongside Zaheerabad, and a limited number of plots are available there too.

Why Non-Commercial Organic Farming

After years of research, one truth became unavoidable: commercial organic farming, at scale, cannot be fully trusted. The only genuine solution was farming people could own — and trust — for themselves.
